Oxydise delivery, installation and training: what to confirm
By Oxydise ·
Delivery planning begins before the equipment arrives. Confirm the access route, room layout and model-specific requirements with the team, then agree what installation and training your order includes. The details can differ between a Hyperbaric Oxygen chamber, a Red Light Therapy panel and a Red Light Therapy bed.
Before you place your order
Confirm the exact model and configuration, the delivery address and the room where it will be used. Explain whether access involves stairs, a lift, narrow doors or restricted parking. Share photographs and measurements so the team can identify any further checks.
Your written quote should make the scope clear. Ask which delivery and installation services are included, whether anything needs to be arranged separately and how the delivery date will be confirmed. Avoid booking other work around an assumed arrival date.
Prepare the room for your model
Allow for the whole installed system and the access needed to use and maintain it. Clear the agreed delivery route and intended equipment position before the team arrives.
For a chamber, include its supporting equipment in the room plan. For a panel, confirm the stand or mounting arrangement. For a bed, check the canopy space and electrical requirements. Do not assume that the requirements for one product apply to another.
Our guides to home chamber space and panels versus beds explain the main planning questions.
Understand the installation and handover
Oxydise's chamber product information describes installation and training as part of the delivery service. The Red Light Therapy Bed also has a planned installation and training process. Confirm the precise scope for the equipment in your order.
During the handover, make sure you understand the controls, the operating instructions, the safety information and how to contact support. If someone else will help you use the equipment, arrange for them to be involved in the relevant training.
- Where are the instructions and product details kept?
- Which checks are needed before use?
- How do you start, stop and respond to a problem?
- Which cleaning and maintenance tasks are your responsibility?
- Who should you contact for technical help?
Keep equipment training separate from clinical advice
Learning how to operate equipment does not determine whether a therapy is appropriate for a health condition. Raise suitability questions before use and seek advice from an appropriately qualified clinician where needed. Follow the guidance supplied for your exact equipment.
Know what support covers
Keep a copy of your order, warranty terms and any service agreement. Ask what is included, which items have separate cover and how to arrange assistance. Oxydise's OxyCare programme concerns equipment maintenance, servicing and ongoing support; confirm the available cover for your model and agreement.
What should you have ready for the first call?
Your postcode, intended room, access photographs, approximate measurements and preferred equipment are a useful starting point. You do not need a finished room plan before speaking with the team.
