Stop the session and depressurise the chamber from inside at any time. Three valves, so there is always a backup.
Simple controls where you can reach them from a seated position, and a carer can assist from outside throughout.
Every chamber is tested to 1.5 ATA before delivery, above the 1.3 ATA it runs at.
Delivery, set-up and training by Oxydise, for you and for anyone who will assist, with ongoing UK support.
The Grade-5 TPU chamber with its wide step-free door, pressure-tested before it leaves us.
A 10 litre a minute concentrator delivering 90 to 96% oxygen to the mask. Oxygen is made from room air, so nothing is stored.
An air-conditioned compressor brings the chamber up to pressure and keeps the air inside fresh. Around 60 dB while running.
Fitted and tested on the day, as part of the installation. Nothing extra to buy.
Delivery, set-up and training by Oxydise are part of the rental, with UK support for the month.
When the month is up we collect everything. Extend, or put the rental towards a purchase.
The chamber comes to the room we planned together. We check dimensions and the route in before the day, then set it level where it belongs.
Concentrator, compressor and lines go in, then the chamber is taken to pressure and checked before anyone uses it.
Normal use, the three release valves and how to run a session, before we leave you with it for the month.
The door opens wide and there is no lip to cross. Position the chair, or take a seat, and the door zips closed.
Set to 1.1 or 1.3 ATA, the gentlest in the range. Your ears notice it the way they do on a plane and settle with a swallow.
Around 60 minutes on oxygen through the mask. Open a release valve when you are done, or ask whoever is assisting, and the chamber settles back to room pressure.
Wipe the interior, hang the mask to dry and leave the door open to air. Two minutes, no tools.
Nothing to service. If anything needs attention during your rental, call us and we sort it.
We collect the chamber and supporting equipment. Extend the rental or move to purchase if it has earned its place.
A session uses roughly 1.3 units of electricity, about 35p at a typical tariff. The rental price covers everything else.
From order to installation is typically 7–10 working days. We agree the date once your delivery form is complete.
One month, delivered, installed and collected. Extend if it is working for you, or put it towards a purchase.
The questions we would ask in your position, answered straight.
Breathing oxygen under pressure increases the amount of oxygen carried in the blood plasma. This is the mechanism researchers study when exploring how Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy may support recovery and other health goals. Evidence and suitability vary by use, and the full picture, including what the evidence does and does not show, is in HBOT explained.
The chamber is 140 cm long, 100 cm wide and 160 cm high, and needs a clear space of about 140 × 160 cm plus room in front of the door for a wheelchair to turn. We check the room and the route in with you before delivery.
Yes. The controls are simple and the training on delivery day is for you and for whoever will assist. A carer can manage the whole session from outside, and you can still open a release valve from inside at any time.
Almost certainly. The concentrator and compressor run from two standard wall sockets with no special electrics, and both sit around 60 dB, about the level of a normal conversation, so a spare room, a home office or a bedroom all work.
A few conditions need a doctor’s ok before hyperbaric sessions, and we check this with you before delivery, not after. We are honest about what the evidence supports and what is still being studied. If we think it is not right for you, we will say that too.
The whole point of this chamber. A wide, step-free entry takes a wheelchair or a walking frame straight in, the interior is upright and spacious, and the pressure is the gentlest in the range. A carer can assist from outside throughout.
The results people talk about come from consistency, usually several sessions a week rather than the odd one. If you are not sure that fits your life yet, rent first or book sessions at one of our locations. The chamber should earn its place in your home.
Yes. We set it up, test it and walk you through a full session on delivery day. After that the routine is the same every time: get in, come up to pressure, breathe, release.
Fair question, and the most common one. There is more room inside than people expect, and most stop thinking about the space within a couple of minutes. You stay in control throughout and can open a release valve from inside at any time. Come and sit in one first. That settles it either way.
