Our Experts
These thought-leaders, clinicians, and performance professionals form the foundation of Oxydise. Together, they help us stay at the cutting edge of safety, efficacy, performance integration, and clinical impact.
Alan Trim — Co-Founder & Clinical / Deployment Lead
Alan Trim is an International Board of Undersea Medicine qualified professional and co-founder of Oxydise. He has overseen the deployment and use of hundreds of hyperbaric and wellness systems across the UK, with clients completing many thousands of hours of therapy.
His experience bridges both clinical recovery and elite performance, with measurable results across a spectrum of client cases including:
-
Oncology support: clients reporting tumour size reductions of up to 80% when HBOT is integrated into treatment plans
-
Vaccine injury recovery: individuals previously unable to walk regaining mobility and independence
-
Long COVID rehabilitation: clients returning to full-time work after structured HBOT courses (one client, after 45 sessions, resumed employment and took a holiday — for the first time in three years)
-
Elite athletic performance:
• Anthony Elanga (Premier League footballer) — under Oxydise protocols, recording highest sprint distances in the league
• Ben Whittaker (professional boxer) — increased punching power, reduced wrist/hand pain during fight camps
For Alan, the real value lies in seeing the tangible, real-world transformations — from restored mobility to enhanced performance.
Oli Patrick — Advisory Board & Clinical Board Chair
Oli Patrick brings deep expertise in physiology, performance, wellbeing and health systems. As a member of Oxydise’s Advisory Board — and incoming Chair of the Clinical Board — he shapes our scientific direction, clinical governance, and integration of advanced health metrics.
His role at Oxydise includes:
-
Governance oversight and assurance for clinical safety and standardisation
-
Reviewing and guiding protocol evolution and outcome analytics
-
Ensuring our health-assessment and performance frameworks remain aligned with the latest evidence
-
Connecting Oxydise to broader networks in wellness, clinical research, and elite performance circles
His leadership ensures that our protocols are not just ambitious — they’re anchored to rigorous physiology and clinical integrity.
Tom Joyce — Performance Integration Partner
Tom Joyce, founder of Built Not Born, is a respected strength & conditioning coach whose athletes use Oxydise’s equipment in their training and recovery regimes.
How Tom works with Oxydise:
-
His footballers and athletes integrate Oxydise’s hyperbaric systems into their training cycles to accelerate recovery, resilience, and adaptation
-
He provides hands-on feedback and validation from the field, helping us refine HBOT protocols to sync with high-intensity training stress
-
His endorsement helps bring credibility and visibility within performance and athletic communities
-
Together, we co-design performance applications of HBOT so it supports (rather than conflicts with) neuromuscular, cardiovascular, and metabolic training loads
Through Tom’s practical insight, we ensure Oxydise doesn’t live only in theory — it works under competitive pressure.
Dr Masha Makeeva – Independent Hyperbaric Safety & Training Expert

Dr Masha Makeeva is a Canadian board-certified naturopathic doctor and an internationally recognised instructor in regenerative therapies, with over 17 years of experience in the field. Her work focuses on longevity, health optimisation, and the safe application of therapies such as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), Photobiomodulation (Red Light Therapy), and Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy.
Dr Masha collaborates with Oxydise as an independent hyperbaric safety and training expert, supporting education, safety awareness, and best-practice guidance within the field of hyperbaric medicine.
Her involvement includes:
• Contributing to the development and delivery of HBOT education and training content for operators and professionals
• Providing independent advisory input on safety considerations, contraindications, and quality standards in hyperbaric practice
• Offering separate, independent consultation services to individuals seeking expert guidance on HBOT suitability and integration with other regenerative modalities
• Sharing insights from emerging scientific research to help inform ongoing education and best-practice discussions
Dr Masha operates independently of Oxydise, and any consultations provided by her are offered in a personal, advisory capacity rather than as part of Oxydise’s clinical or medical services.
