The Body Fix Coach: Oxydise Wellness Lab Derby
James Bacon of The Body Fix Coach explains how an Oxydise Hyperbaric Oxygen chamber became part of his Derby coaching and gym business.
James Bacon runs The Body Fix Coach Limited alongside a busy training community at Limitless gym. Athletes train downstairs, while the clinics upstairs serve them and the wider public.
Adding Hyperbaric Oxygen to the space
In a filmed conversation with Oxydise, James explains how an Oxydise Hyperbaric Oxygen chamber became part of that setting. The gym brings together strongman, calisthenics, powerlifting, street lifting and Olympic lifting. For James, the chamber added a place for people to make time for recovery alongside their training and coaching.
What James has seen
James says the chamber was fully booked within three days and ran for around eight to ten hours a day during its first three to four months. He also says it brought new people into both the gym and the clinics upstairs. Those figures describe his experience at The Body Fix Coach, rather than a forecast for another business.
“It’s brought a lot of new people into the gym and to the clinics upstairs.”

A service that fits the business
The interview shows how James has placed the chamber within an existing coaching and training business. His account is about the practical role it plays for his clients and the way it connects the gym with the clinics above.
